About Me
Hello, my name is Mikael Stewart, I live in Auckland, New Zealand and I'm an electronics geek. I've been interested in electronics and computer related stuff since a kid but most importantly, I have a keen interest in the field of robotics (automation, AI, you name it).
My MHEX hexapod robotics project is a hobby project of mine that's been slowly crawling along in my spare time since 2001. THe reason I started the mhex project is because I wanted an interesting challenge that covered the fields of electronics, mechanics and software engineering. MHEX as you may have guessed stands for Mikaels Hexapod :)
I also have an interest in art (contemporary design, sculpture, photography you name it) but have never really had time to work on anything of my own. I love listning to music too (who doesn't?) - indie rock, ska/dub, rock/metal its all good :)
Things I don't like include chopsticks and people who drive SUV's and people who don't use public transport when they should or could.
